Why do I need to use a project management solution? All projects require some degree of attention otherwise jobs may never get started, experience chronic crisis and confusion, or may never realize completion. Symptoms that a project management solution is needed: - Technology seems to works against you more often than for you
- Decisions are on-the-fly and not based on fact
- Are you “doing the work right” but do not know if you are “doing the right work”
- Competition exists between department rather than cooperation
- Personnel are confused over roles and responsibility
- The sequence of processes is undefined causing workflow confusion
- No real-time job status is available
- Project delays and late deliveries are common place
- There is no centralized access to information – who has the paper has the power
- Jobs cannot be easily located on the production floor
- Actual project costs cannot be quantified
- Cost overruns are the norm - Actual job hours and estimated hours are not even close
- Do not have easy access to a job project history knowledge base
- Hours are spent posting and totaling manual time cards
- Vendor pricing changes for materials and supplies cannot be tracked
- Losing customer base due to non-competitive pricing
- Hiring more and more personnel to perform clerical tasks
- Always reinventing the wheel and starting new projects from scratch
- The business seems stagnet and unable to grow
Enterprise Level Edition Benefit from the full capabilities of a true network application by sharing data across your entire business. The unlimited user licensing, for a single site location, makes this the smart choice for companies over 15 employees. The site license allows client workstations on a LAN simultaneous use of Kform Project Manager provided that the client software is installed on their workstation and the server software is installed on the file server. Entry Level Edition The Entry Level Edition provides limited network access to Kform, but the same level of functionality as the Enterprise Edition.
