What is the difference between the Enterprise and Entry level editions? PDF Print E-mail

Enterprise Level Edition

Benefit from the full capabilities of a true network application by sharing data across your entire business. The unlimited user licensing, for a single site location, makes this the smart choice for companies over 15 employees.  The site license allows client workstations on a LAN simultaneous use of Kform Project Manager provided that the client software is installed on their workstation and the server software is installed on the file server.

Entry Level Edition

The Entry Level Edition provides limited network access to Kform, but the same level of functionality as the Enterprise Edition. Suggested for companies with fewer than 15 employees or who desire to run Kform Project Manager as a stand-alone.  The Entry Level Edition is a single floating seat license also called a concurrent use license.

The floating seat license allows any client workstation on a LAN to use Kform Project Manager provided that the client software is installed on their workstation and the server software is installed on the file server.  However, users are limited to the following concurrent seat use.

1 seat Kform Project Manager (kform.exe)
1 seat Kform Project Manager (barcode.exe) – Time Tracking Module
1 seat Kform Project Manager (toolroom.exe) – Tool Room Module
1 seat Kform Project Manager (autok.exe) – Auto-K feature

For example:  Workstation 1 has the Estimate Module open – (kform.exe).  Workstation 2 cannot access the Job, Estimate, Purchase Order, Inventory etc. until Workstation 1 closes Kform Project Manager.  Workstation 2 may access the Time Tracking (barcode.exe) or the Tool Room Module while Workstation 1 is utilizing the Estimate Module.
