Crystal Reports – Migrating from the OCX to the RDC

Kform Project Manager V2.5 uses the Crystal Reports OCX which is based on older technology and presents limitations for application integration.  The RDC offers advanced features not available in the OCX, such as formatting objects at runtime, and is configured on the current technology of Microsoft Active X components such as:

• • Direct integration with VB.Net
  • Uses Report Expert and VB.NET code to create, view and modify reports
  • Exposes all print engine features – no wrapper around the print engine
  • Flexibility to set individual or multiple properties
  • Ability to access separate objects in reports
  • Improved control over entire report format
  

All reports in Kform Project Manager 2007 have been updated, improved, and reformatted.
